Michael Landon (October 31, 1936 – July 1, 1991) was an American actor, writer, director, and producer, who starred in three popular NBC TV series that spanned three decades. He is widely known for his roles as Little Joe Cartwright in Bonanza (1959–1973), Charles Ingalls in Little House on the Prairie (1974–1983), and Jonathan Smith in Highway to Heaven (1984–1989). Landon appeared on the cover of TV Guide twenty-two times he in my oppinion was a great actor he played in about ten series of "the little house on the prairie" the well known set of series about a family in the eighteen hundreds the family included laura ingles (mellissa gilbert) mary ingles cary ingles and carline ingles and charles ingles (michael landon) it was quite good to know that michael landon was best friends with mr.edwards (victor french) in little house on the prairie the later went on to make a series called "highway to heaven" the show about a jonathon smith who was an angel sent down to earth to help peoples problems he meets mark (victor french) and mark helps him along the way :) by smashback pleeeeeeeeeassssse follow me on freebase :)
